The Rīga Conference is an annual meeting of regional and international experts in foreign policy and defence, academics, journalists, and business representatives, promoting the discussion and assessment of issues affecting the transatlantic community. Convening in the Latvian capital since 2006, the conference has become a recognised annual tradition in the region.
On October 19th the open admission day of discussions will be held at the venue. Among hot topics are: defence cooperation between Latvia and the United States, evolution and innovation: the sustainable business transformation, EU enlargement and the call for reform: what’s in it for the Baltics, and others. The Rīga Conference 2023 will be taking place on the 20th and 21st of October, 2023. It will be preceded by two days of the Future Leaders Forum on the 18th and 19th October, 2023. This year’s conference is organised in a hybrid format: with a limited number of participants in person and a wider audience online in order to ensure maximum safety and flexibility for all participants and speakers.
