TERMS AND CONDITIONS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

These terms and conditions (hereinafter \u2013 \u201cRules\u201d) are binding for all individuals registered for the Conference by completing the Registration Form (hereinafter \u2013 \u201cParticipants\u201d). By registering for the Conference, Participants enter into a binding agreement with the Organiser. If a Participant disagrees with the Rules, they are prohibited from registering for the Conference. The Organiser reserves the right to modify and supplement the Rules, with such changes taking effect once communicated to the Participant via the email address provided during registration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARTICIPANT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Security:<\/strong> Participants are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their Registration Form details, including username and password, and must not disclose this information to third parties.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Single Registration:<\/strong> Each Participant is permitted to register for the Conference only once.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Accuracy of Information:<\/strong> Participants confirm that all information provided (including personal data, texts, files, and intellectual property) on the Registration Form is lawful, accurate, up-to-date, and complete. Participants must promptly update any information to ensure its accuracy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Prohibited Content:<\/strong> Participants must not submit or post any content on the Registration Form that is offensive, threatening, defamatory, discriminatory, pornographic, blasphemous, contains trade secrets, or is otherwise unlawful.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Lawful Use:<\/strong> Participants must use the Registration Form lawfully and adhere to the Rules, applicable laws and regulations, and generally accepted principles of ethics and morality.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Interference:<\/strong> Participants must not interfere with or disrupt the functionality of the Registration Form, servers, or networks associated with it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Consent for Sharing Information:<\/strong> Participants agree that their name and surname may be shared with other conference participants and partners.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE ORGANISER<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Information Provision:<\/strong> The Organiser will provide Participants with relevant information about the Conference.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Disclaimer of Liability:<\/strong> The Organiser disclaims all liability for any damages, claims, injuries, losses, or liabilities arising from acts or omissions of third parties during travel to or from, or attendance at, the Conference. The Organiser is not responsible for the behavior of any attendee or external entity during the Conference.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Suspension of Access:<\/strong> The Organiser may suspend a Participant’s access to the Registration Form and Conference if the Participant fails to comply with these Rules. The Participant will be notified via the email address provided during registration.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      CONFERENCE LANGUAGE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The official language of the Conference is English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      COVID-19 SAFE REGIME<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Vaccination or Recovery Requirement:<\/strong> The R\u012bga Conference 2024 will operate under a COVID-19 safe regime, allowing entry only to individuals who are vaccinated or have recovered from COVID-19 and can provide proof.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Proof of Status:<\/strong> All Participants must present proof of vaccination or recovery upon entry to the National Library of Latvia, evidenced by an interoperable digital EU certificate (either in electronic form or printed).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        NIGHT OWL SESSION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Night Owl Sessions are conducted under the Chatham House Rule, which states: \u201cParticipants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
